Spike milligan is knighted by the queen

Having been granted the CBE in 1992 after a series of cockups by the Cabinet Office it has been announced today that Spike Milligan has been knighted in the New Years Honour list for his contribution to Charity amongst other things. Spike Milligan CBE KBE is a Patron of the Manic Depression Fellowship and was one of the first celebrities to 'come out' about mental health issues.
